My name is Jessica (Peabody) Roselli. I am a 7-12 social science educator and I will be certified in Government, Economics
and Geography. For the past year, I have been teaching Government and Economics at Bearden High School in Knoxville, TN.
I originally came from Atlanta, Georgia and received my Bachelor's of Arts in Political Science from The University of
Georgia in 2006. I am currently finishing my Master's of Science in Teacher Education (Secondary Teaching Social Science Education)
at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville and will be graduating in May of 2009.
I have loved the social studies for the entirety of my academic career. I had very positive and influential teachers that
made the subject areas come alive and I hope to do the same for my students. I believe that teachers are an integral step
in creating active and informed citizens. Teaching in this field can be my contribution to American and global society in
the future.
